Does it zip on to the old Pod 3 mattress cover with the tension straps?

A little over 2.5 years sober. I can now go back in to certain bars where I used to drink and simply eat a meal. A cold beer would still be good, but, to date, I’ve stayed off the sauce.

I’m on day 23, kicked out of school , kicked out of college , kicked out of university , kicked out from my parents, can’t keep a hobby longer than a few weeks , can’t keep a job longer than a month. Been sober now and I just seem … different. Scared to say it’s my final drink as I’m not sure as of yet , but changing the relationship with alcohol is something certain. Your videos are honest and straight forward . I love the idea of having drinks on special occasions, but I also don’t want to ruin the “streak” , maybe feel like I’ve let my self down…. But I do love a good beer or whisky .

Interesting points. It's a shame that the "auto pilot" couldn't react to the car impacting from behind and move forward to give them a little more space to brake and perhaps lessen the impact to you. It could also flash the brake lights if it thinks people are approaching too fast.

I would be absolutely terrified using suction cups on the roof of my car like that. They may be impossible to lose their grip under any circumstances 99.99% of the time. But that 0.01% whether it's the fault of the product or the person fitting it could lead to disaster. I have a two bike upright V rack which fits on my towbar. As solid as a rock but I still make a point of checking it at intervals on longer journeys. The bike rack lives permanently in the boot in case I need it or need to give anyone else's bike an unexpected lift. It takes up hardly any space. I use a trailer occasionally so I'm always going to have a towbar fitted on any car I buy that doesn't already have one. I always buy second hand. For the cost of a couple of hundred bucks it's always incredibly useful to have one anyway.

Had already ordered this today, but, your video was the first I’ve seen that demonstrated that it can turn 180 degrees so you can work from the front of the bike on the floor. Great demo and review, many thanks.

Great review. I currently purchased and received a POD 3 and it seems great to me. The 4 certainly seems like a step up but probably not worth upgrading to since the POD 3 cools and heats as effectively. Would you agree that it’s not a large step up on the POD 4? Thanks Steve

As yet, I'm a non EV driver, but imo the charging stops are good in a safety way, as they are "forcing" you to stop and take a break. Which can only be a good thing !

Why take the wheels off? There is not a rack that can be used without disassembling the bike?

Thanks for the review! Many people are complaining that without AC on top of having the 8sleep, the 8sleep acts like a heat generator and the bedroom gets quite hot. Seems this got worse with the pod4 because it's cooling more. Do you have an AC? Did you notice this effect? How do you find the cooling compared to the pod3? Some people on reddit complained it was not homogeneous. Thx again!

This might help other people. I was able to pair my gen 3 wall connector with my eero network without problem after I renamed my network SSID and removed spaces. It seems the wall connector is one of the few devices that doesn’t like spaces in SSID’s

Well I am happy you’re pleased with them. I have found them less than easy to deal with I now have a major crank bearing failure and it’s been a nightmare thus far. Parts a weeks out not days out. They are expensive. This has had the ongoing tick tick problem you see online. It’s now a major failure and going to cost several hundred to correct. I found them very attentive till they got my credit card then I was and still am invisible. I would guess at this rate they will be gone from business one day. Never again will a Peloton product reach past my door. Too bad because we excited to join the peloton family. That’s over now.

Super helpful! The way I fixed this was a teeny bit different: I have the t-mobile home internet (US). I ended up creating a new network that was only 2.4 ghz and WPA2 (super easy in the home internet app btw-tbh I didn’t even know this was a thing you could do!) Then I had to flip the breaker to restart the charger, reset all the WiFi on my phone so it would ONLY connect to the charger, then it finally connected. The network also HAS to be WPA2-it wouldn’t work when it was WPA2-WPA3.

Since last chatting with you, our summer visitors have arrived. So, we are waiting until approximately August to order one of these. I believe we will go with the 2450 (vice the 1750). I LOVE the justification of thinking about spreading the higher cost over 5 to 7 years hehehehe. Brilliant!!

I've been looking at NT for quite a while, I'm just a little apprehensive to make an investment in NT after reading all of the horrifying stories about these treadmills breaking down, and the ordeal consumers have had to go through to get them repaired through NT. Maybe it's better in the UK, but there's no shortage of horror stories here in the U.S. Great video though, it's tempting to pull the trigger on a purchase, I'm just concerned about quality.

It's OK if you have passengers and really have to put the bike up on the roof for a short drive. But know that this setup will cause a LOT of air drag. Best way to transport a bike like this is to remove both wheels and put the frame in the backseat. The bike remains protected and there will be no air drag while driving on the highway. Thule also makes a great hitch-mount carrier that puts the bike in the back, of the car without any contact on the body. Very easy to load up and much less air drag, but it requires a trailer hitch, which must be bolted to the car's underside.

Sounds like the perfect workaround. I have a TP-Link mesh 2.4 & 5 GHz router and could not get it to connect to the Tesla Wall Connector. I ordered the Range Extender and will see if it works.

I’ve just purchased a Peloton bike in an effort to shift a lot of weight following an ankle surgery. I found your vid today after weighing myself after a seven day streak of some intensive workouts on the bike. I was fully expecting to see a weight loss considering I had flooded my kitchen floor with sweat on every work out. I was gutted to find I hadn’t lost any weight. It’s hit me hard. But I’m going to try incorporating some of the strength and stretching classes now. I don’t drink at home in the week, nor do I go out and binge drink anymore. I’ve been sticking to a fairly high protein low carb diet and I’m confused as to why I haven’t lost anything in the week. I know I left everything on that bike after every workout. Hopefully, with your pointers, I can put a dent in it this week. Cheers Steve.

Not sure the cost of running EV is justified in this video. 1.6 deisel citroen that I drove for a year costed £1,709 in premium diesel, £20 in tax and costed £7000 to buy. My normal driving Cannot find a reason to install solar as well. Maybe I am missing something, but I cannot see any savings.

Hi Steve, Great video. I'm planning on doing a road trip in the summer to France (about an hour south of Toulouse) with my MY. What do I need to do with the headlights? I used to have to put blanking tape over part of the lights on previous cars but don't know if this is needed with a 2022 MY? Do you know if the adaptive headlights introduced a couple of months ago with an update will know when I'm in France? Other than the connectors that come with the car, can you please explain what adaptors I may need if I want to plug in to a standard wall plug please? Or if I stay in a campsite overnight can I just plug in? Thanks in advance.
